24’ Boston Whaler 2000 Commercial lay-up, or the FWC twin. This is a decommissioned Florida Fish and Wildlife boat with twin 150 yamahas, we call it the FWC twin. Equipped with twin four stroke 150 Yamahas this boat has great economy with enough speed to get you out there fast when you want too. The 24 whalers that we have in the program are a great ride, and they are standard hulls. This boat was laid up for FWC, it is one of the best rides that we have, and my personal favorite boat. As an added bonus, everyone acts happy when you drive by because this boat looks almost identical to the FWC boats that are used throughout Florida.
170 gallon tank and a 10 inch color Garmin 2010c with Southeast Florida charts that make navigation as easy as pie. With the Color Garmin GPS, White is over 6ft depth, blue is under 6 ft depth, if you run aground with this set up you are not paying attention. Full Garmin Sounder Hookup for the Garmin. Infinity waterproof stereo with blue tooth for easy wireless hookup to all smart devices. Side mounted water proof JL audio speakers add to your enjoyment when you are out on the water, this system is really very crisp.
4 rung commercial step up ladder installed by All Design makes entry into the transom easy with this boat. Boat is set up for fishing with a great fresh water livewell, outrigger mounts, and lots of rod holders. There are storage lockers in the floor for storing those large dolphin, when they want to fight. This boat also has the 4 Ar-15 rifle rack and ammo seat, but we don’t recommend bringing any firearms on your vacation.
There are also plenty of seats for large parties, we list this boat for up to 8, but since it is an unsinkable Boston Whaler, the Coast Guard says 12. There is plenty of power for anything that you run into. This is another great offshore platform that will make your vacation enjoyable.
